The Seek And Find FIVE has shown you various ways to add timely and relevant information and features, which is great for visitors to your page, but it only helps those who actually see your page—so how do you get people to your page? One solution that can save you time and effort is Seek And Find's sharing feature. Social media can be a little daunting if you're just getting your feet wet, but since this is the Seek And Find FIVE, we're obviously not going to cover every aspect of social media in five minutes— instead, we'll just offer one quick, simple way to help you get updates and timely information out to your audience, fast. To share your news with the largest audience possible: 1) Log on to Seek And Find and click Edit next to your listing. 2) Post your information to the appropriate section your listing page (News & Updates, Description, Events & Coupons, Document & Media Gallery, etc.). 3) In the upper right-hand portion of your listing (directly above the map), click on the icon of the sharing medium you would like to use (the envelope for e-mail, the bluebird for Twitter, the "f" for Facebook, etc. If you click on the plus sign next to "More" you'll see dozens of other options as well). A window will pop open requesting you to log in to the social media site or, in the case of e-mail, to enter the e-mail address(es) you'd like to send to, as well as your e-mail and any note you would like to include with the e-mail. This will post a link to your listing page on the social media site (or in an e-mail), rather than having to repeat the news for each site—meaning now all of your followers and friends will see the update, not just those who visit your listing page! 4) Extra credit for the tech savvy or adventurous! Consider using a social media dashboard to manage your updates (HootSuite and TweetDeck being two of the most popular). They have free versions available that allow you to create one post that goes out to all your social media outlets at once, as well as keep an eye on your "buzz" out in cyberspace.
