Seek And Find now welcomes about 12,000 visitors a day—we’re making it easier for people to find you online, but it won’t help that they know where you are, if they don’t know when to show up! Updating your Seek And Find listing to show Mass or service times, as well as special times for holy days is a very simple process, and with the rapidly approaching advent of a new church year, now is the time to make sure that new, visiting, and returning members know when to show up.
There are three different places on your listing that you can place service times; you can use one, two, or all three options to get the message out to your members and visitors. The easiest, of course, is in the dedicated Service Times section; however, placing service times right in the Description section of your listing can give more prominence, and uploading service times as PDF or word processing document can give visitors an easily printable option. Just take five minutes, and let people know when they can find you:
Option 1: To add the Service Times box to your Seek And Find listing:
- After signing into your Seek And Find account, click the green Edit button to the right of your listing page.
- Next, on the Edit Entry page click on the Description tab (the second tab from the left).
- Scroll down past the Description box to the Mass/Service Times box and enter daily and weekend service times; don’t forget to include any special times for holy days.
- Check the box next to “I accept the Terms & Conditions of SeekAndFind.com” and hit the red Save button.
Your service times will now appear in a dedicated box on the right-hand side of your listing, right under the “Our Supporters” box:
Option 2: To add Mass/service times to the Description of your Seek And Find listing:
- After logging in, click the green Edit button to the right of your Seek And Find listing.
- Again, click on the Description tab.
- This time, enter your service times in the first box, the Description box. The text you enter here will appear in the main body of your listing page (below your bulletins).
- Check the box next to “I accept the Terms & Conditions of SeekAndFind.com” and hit the red Save button.
If you already have a description for your community in this section, consider adding service times too—if you have it listed here and in the Mass/Service Times box, it makes it easier for visitors to find this information:
Option 3: To upload a list of service times to your Seek And Find listing:
- After logging in, again click the green Edit button to the right of your listing.
- This time click on the Documents tab on the Edit Entry page.
- From the Document Manager, click the green Manage Files button.
- In the pop-up window, click the Browse button and find the document you want to upload on your computer (e.g., a .pdf or Word .doc file):
- Click the green Upload button to add the file to your listing.
- Check the box next to “I accept the Terms & Conditions of SeekAndFind.com” and hit the red Save button.
Uploaded documents will appear on your listing page under the Description section (or Gallery section if you have uploaded images):
Now when people search for you, they'll find out not only where you are, but when you are!
