Standard Ad Guidelines

Specifications:
Ads should not be designed to blend in with the site, do not mimic the site's fonts or colors. Ads should not include fake form elements of other graphic symbols that mimic functionality that does not exist. Creative must not auto download or ask the user to download plug-ins.
Creative Due Date:
Standard creative must be received at least three business days prior to the campaign start date. Rich Media Creative requires five business days for testing.
Audio
Ads with audio must have a prominent mute button or on/off button and must be user-initiated.
* Flash Ads
All Flash Ads are Accepted. A backup .jpg or .gif must be supplied for browsers unable to detect Flash. Flash ads served by LPi need to have the following clicktag encoded (rather than a hard coded click-thru command). They are case-sensitive:
NOTE: In order for the clickTAG function to work properly, Flash designers must select version "Flash Player 6" in their publish settings prior to .swf export.
** 3rd Party Tags
We prefer javascript tags to iframe tags whenever possible.
*** Expansion Details
Rollover-initiated, expansion panels must close when user rolls off tghe ad. Only clearly labeled areas (for example tabs or buttons that say 'preview' or 'view more') of the banner ad may cause rollover-expansion - the entire ad cannot cause expansion. When click-initiated, there must be a clearly visible 'Close' button on the expansion panel. Max width of expansion is 500px wide. Any ad or portion of ad that covers content must include a prominent close button
